So these are Jonathan's masterpieces this year!! Love it. He spent a lot of hours on these so I'm glad I can post them for all to see ;)

Chocolate Covered Red Velvet Cake Balls!

It’s based on a mix, but I imagine you can follow the same directions substituting from scratch cake and frosting (I’ll try that one day). You can also try it with other cake combinations.

Red Velvet Cake Balls
1 box red velvet cake mix (cook as directed on box for 13 X 9 cake)
1 can cream cheese frosting (16 oz.)
1 package chocolate bark (regular or white chocolate)
wax paper

1. After cake is cooked and cooled completely, crumble into large bowl.
2. Mix thoroughly with 1 can cream cheese frosting. (It may be easier to use fingers to mix together, but be warned it will get messy.)
3. Roll mixture into quarter size balls and lay on cookie sheet. (Should make 45-50. You can get even more if you use a mini ice cream scooper, but I like to hand roll them.)
4. Chill for several hours. (You can speed this up by putting in the freezer.)
5. Melt chocolate in microwave per directions on package.
6. Roll balls in chocolate and lay on wax paper until firm. (Use a spoon to dip and roll in chocolate and then tap off extra.)

I also only melt a few pieces of chocolate bark at a time because it starts to cool and thicken. It’s easier to work with when it’s hot.

So confused...

I am so confused right now! My head is spinning out of control. I feel like I'm not myself these days and it's kinda scary. Everything I do feels wrong and everything seems to set me off whether its crying or getting angry. And of course I retract at that point and hide away in my bubble! I'm trying so hard to be the best wife, mom, and friend! I guess I just wish I could do everything perfectly but I can't. and I'll have to come to terms with that. No the house isn't always clean and I know I really could do better in that department but with kids running around and just being mentally drained I physically can't. I'm not in the right mind state. So with all the drama(which I don't wanna get into right now) this past week and pretty much losing my best friend I think I'm ready for a change. It's hard when your so close with someone for so long and things are gone in an instant. Yes we still put on a brave face and smile but we both know it will never be the same. yes I'm sad and yes I'm devistated but what more can I do! So with all that bein said I think we might move back to Texas. It's not definate yet because there are so many things that need to happen first. Have to find Jonathan a job! That's first and foremost! So yea. I'm just scared to once again not only pick up my life but my kids lives, the only one they have ever known & move cross country. The only thing I think keeping me here was my parent and manda but in the end I need to grow up and start thinkin like an adult. We would be much happier there. All of our family and most of our friends are there! It's not like we're moving somewhere we don't know anyone! I just don't know. Like I said my mind is racing as you probably can tell and I am just going to shut up now! Good night!

My little soccer star!

Matthew finished up his last day of soccer this past wednesday. Mom came out and watched him and he loved it. Spent most of the time standing around but oh well. I dont think we'll do soccer again til he is a bit older if he still wants to do it. But i got some cute pics and thats all that really matters right?! lol & you can see more in my facebook album :D

I finally got my blog to work. It turns out it wasnt my blog but when i updated internet explorer it stopped working. ANYWAYS So far this month has been crazy. I've had 2 photoshoots so far this month. A family shoot and a boudoir shoot :D Super excited about those. And I've also become a Scentsy Consultant. My Consultant kit should be here tomorrow and I'll be able to start going. I've gotten 1 party on the calendar and 3 more in the works which makes me beyond excited! It'll feel good to be able to contribute in some way to the income. Even if it is a little bit here and there its still something. And Scentsy is amazing!!!!!! I absolutely love it for sure. I've got 2 warmers going in my house now. One full size one in my living room and a plug in that I have put in the boys room. I've got another one on order, a plug in that will go in my room. But my house smells absolutely fantastic! I'm excited that i'll get a scentsy buddy in my starter kit as well. I want to see how the boys like it. Speaking of which its so hard to believe that my baby is going to be 1 in less than a month! CRAZINESS! Blows my mind. I've got to start planning his party and figuring out what to buy a 1 year old who doesnt need anymore toys or clothes. Think i'll just get him the scentsy buddy and let matthew pick him something out and be done with it. Next month is gonna be jammed packed as well. On top of Covingtons birthday, we have 3 other parties to go to. And Mother's day & My 23rd birthday!!!!!! I'm definately going out for that!

Coveys Picture Board

I finally finished Covington's Board. I had Matthews up in the living room at the other house along with all of the other pictures of big bug and i felt bad. So I finally got around to making Cov's board this morning. Now they each have one for their room. Even though I need to make another one for matthew with updated pics! I LOVE making these things. Anything to do with pictures lol. I would cover every wall in the house with them hehe. I know in the picture that the bottom corners are cut off but i'm only so tall ;)

My New House!!!

I am in LOVE with my new house & the fact that i can even say house instead of townhome or duplex!!!! It feels amazing not to have to park in a parking spot rather than a driveway or live in a complex rather than a neighborhood! Its so much bigger than what we're used to and it feels good to have so much more space. I've found its easier to keep it clean this way cuz everything isnt piled on top of each other. So I took a few pics for ya so you can see it. I did the panaramic view so you can get the full effect ;)

DAY 30!!!!!!!!!!

1/3 of the way through my p90x journey and I have results to prove it! I have just one thing to say 11 INCHES IN 30 DAYS!!!! I mean come on how awesome is that! I have to take the result pics later but for now i'll show you the inches chart!

p90x=day 21!!!!!

So today is day 21! Cant believe I've stuck to it this long lol!! Only 69 days to go. Jonathan is saying he can already see a difference in me with the weight. I've lost 5 lbs so far but almost an inch off my waist, which is what really counts. And I can get into my jeans now straight outta the dryer without having to stretch them first then doing a happy dance to get into them ;) They just go right on! Which feels sooooooooo good!

In other news :D The weather has been fairly good here which means outside play and craziness. Covey has 2 teeth now and is not only crawling everywhere but he is also standing up on EVERYTHING. Driving me nuts hehe and wants to eat everything that you have. O and he is saying dadda and blah blah.

p90x-day 6!

Yesterday Ashley started the workout with me! It was nice having someone to do the workout with kinda like a push & I did so much better than what i thought I would've. Not only did I complete the whole Ab Ripper X workout but then we turned around and finished the Cardio X workout as well. I was so proud of myself for finishing!! Its the first time this week I've been able to finish the whole workout but to finish 2 of them. I'm OVER the moon. This morning when i woke up my abs were sore my legs are sore and my arms are sore but that means i'm doing it right & i'm fine with that. I know there will be pain with this process & thats ok!! I need a good butt kicking ;) Today is a core workout so we'll see how that goes!! I want to see this to the end. I'm not one for finishing things normally i do it for a few days then quit. But I made it this far I can't quit now. I've been looking at all of the transformation pictures and I want to see those results and be one of those people. I want my old body back that I had before kids. Yes I realize my stretch marks will still be there and always will be and I'm ok with that. But i'm not okay will the excessive amount of fat and skin that has accumulated on my body! So all I have to say is BRING IT P90X!!!!! I can do this!

SNOW DAY!

So far we've probably gotten like 3-4 inches and its still coming down! Not looking forward to when it turns into freezing rain later...so for now we just enjoyed the nice powder that is on the ground!

With the new year...

Means resolutions..We're going on 2 weeks of our diet and going pretty well just LOTS of chicken and no sodas & my crockpot is being used a whole lot. I havent started the P90X just yet but i've gotta start soon. Hoping to be down 20-30 lbs by the first week of march for our trip back to texas. Really hoping that we'll continue to eat good even after we slow down the diet. Yes it does require me to do a little more than pop a pizza in the oven but it tastes so much better and its better for us. I tried talking mom into doing it too cuz they are constantly sick from eating out and dads doctor told him he needs to stop eating and drinking so bad. Sooo i'm hopin they will but i dont think they will. Even Matthew seems to enjoy it a whole lot more. So thats whats been going on here.

My brother and his wife came up for new years and that was a blast even if we didnt get to see them as much as we wouldve liked. But i'm hopin to make the best of march. It seems like forever away but it is flying by rather quickly. Just a little bit longer til income tax time then we can start making the final plans. YAY! I know its gonna a be a long hard trip with both kids in the car for 20 hours. Plus we're gonna have to be driving around to everyone down there. So its gonna be crazy but i am more than ready to see everyone!!!
