Texas bound!!

WooHoo i'm so excited for our upcoming trip to texas/oklahoma!!!! We're still working out the kinks in the schedule. So far we're still winging it lol! But i do know we are leaving sunday night after jonathan gets off a 7 then 17 hours later we'll be there! Since we'll be driving the majority of it at night i'm hoping matthew will sleep the whole way! I think we're gonna hit up the mckinney/denton area first then head up to durant for a day then back down towards waco! :) Then we don't have to head back to the nc the following wednesday!! It couldnt get here fast enough!!!

Christmas

We had such a great christmas...matthew really enjoyed himself...all morning all we heard was Ooo Wow! Lol he had a blast!!

Christmas Eve!

Today is Christmas eve and also my fabulous hubby's birthday!! Love him so much even if he is getting old lol!!! Poor guy is already 25! We went out and braved the crowds today...finally decided we were going to do christmas shopping. So we went out and everything was pretty much cleared out of everywhere which was to be expected. But Matthew is in the christmas spirit..

He is gonna look so cute wearing this tomorrow taking pictures!!! Yay!

Baby Boy #2!

Well its official we're having another baby boy!!! So matthew will have a little brother! I'll be out numbered still but I guess i'll just have to get used to that....Its more sports and cars for me! I'm pretty sure we're going to go with the name Covington James Tharpe...so we'll see :D

Ugh only 2 more days until our ultrasound and it seems like a million years away!! Tuesday morning at 8:30! Hopefully the baby will be willing to show us what it is!! At this point i'm still going back and forth...I know that it would be soo much easier to have a boy, just cuz we have all of matthews clothes still and later down the road just get bunkbeds lol!

But i think deep down i'm still secretly wanting a girl! Dresses & bows! But either way i'll be happy as long as the baby is healthy.

Right now we're waiting to send out our christmas cards just cuz we're gonna add the baby's name on there whichever one its gonna be. =) So everybody will probably get theirs after christmas but better late than never and i added in some pics of matthew!!

Also, Jonathan is talking about coming down to texas and oklahoma maybe here in the next month just to see everyone! Hopefully we will cuz i miss everyone! I'm hoping its a 2 week trip cuz one would just not be worth it since it takes so long to drive down there and all & we both have so many people we wanna see...but i guess we'll see!

Snow day!

Yay we finally had it snow...which after a while just turned into ice but matthew enjoyed it none the less!! :D

Just one of those days!!

So Matthew this week for some reason has got it in his head that since daddy is working nights and is gone that he gets to stay up and party like a rockstar! Now he is normally in bed by 7-7:30ish but no not this week 10 is when he has been letting me put him down without a huge meltdown! He's been wanting to sleep with me but i'm definately not starting that trend! Ok so i finally get him to bed then at 5:48 this morning I hear a blood curling scream!! He's fine just decided to let one out so i bring him in my room...the screaming doesnt stop and when I touch him it makes it 10 times worse! So i finally get him to sleep and he slept til 9 which is good. I needed that. Then nap time rolls around jonathan is in bed sleeping and matthew wants to go lay down with me. Ugh so i let him after much fighting! I don't understand what has gotten into my child and I hope this is all a phase and he gets over it quick!!

Anyways, Tonight is Jonathans work christmas party and since I dont' have a babysitter I'm taking matthew with me for the food part then we're splitting out of there. But i'm pretty sure i'm the only one that will have their kid with them. And i'm really hoping no one says anything! O well if they do though!!
