First feeding of rice cereal!

So our adventure today consisted of trying cereal for the first time with covey. He has gotten it in his bottle but not a lot and this time we tried it in a bowl with a spoon and he did great. Very proud of my baby boy!

Winding down!

Wow it has been such a fun and eventful week! Between several playgroups and a family day in huntersville its been fun! We went to the Fountains @ birkdale for the first time and let matthew run free in there. He loved it & we went at the perfect time because we were the only ones there! We also had a few playdates with the hip mamas which is an awesome new group that i joined. Two weeks in and we've already done so much. We had a flower planting playdate on wednesday. The kids got to paint & decorate their own flower pots and then add the soil and plant their seeds. Matthew had a blast doing it & playing with all the other kids.

Then later that day when jonathan woke up is when we went to the fountains, then took him to Mcdonalds down there cuz they have a huge indoor play area. Finished it off with a trip to Walmart where jonathan got Matthew a giant inflatable bounce house which is currently taking up the entire living room!!!

Then yesterday we had a playgroup @ hope park here in town. That is always lots of fun but there is no shade there so we only stayed for about an hour. They have water things that shoot mist out of the side of the play equipment so that keeps the kids nice and cool but for me and covey it was getting a little hot.

Then when we got home and after the boys took their 3 & 1/2 hour nap ;) i rearranged all the furniture in their room so that i can HOPEFULLY get this giant thing out of my living room and up into theirs. I don't know what i'm gonna do if it doesnt fit cuz there is no walking space left in my living room lol. so i guess we'll see.

Now its friday we're winding down the week. Jonathan goes back to work tonight which sucks. Its gonna be a long weekend but hopefully it wont be too bad. COME ON MONDAY!! To see more of the pics i couldnt get on here u can go to my photoshare site. http://www.tharpefamilylovesyou.shutterfly.com/

So since i've been so blah here lately one of my girlfriends invited me out to a moms night in. I totally needed it. It was so great to get out of the house and not stress about everything thats been happening. A few of these pics i look crazy lol, especially the ones i'm outside cuz it was hot and sticky so i was red hehe and had a couple of glasses of wine by that time ;) But here are some pics from last night!!

Nervous wreck!

So i finally called and scheduled an appointment at a local family doctor. They said they can fit me in today and my stomach is in knots....partially because the nausea is killing me! But also because we'll hopefully figure out what is making my body go crazy. I'm scared to think i'll be pregnant again because i know that we decided we didn't want anymore kids. In fact just this morning jonathan had his vasectomy consultation!!! But if we are then i guess its gods way of giving us one more before he got it done and its meant to be. I wanna cry because i'm so torn & i feel like a horrible mom if i say i don't wanna be pregnant but i'm not a happy pregnant person! I can remember at least a hundred times being pregnant with covington saying i will NEVER do this again! But when i got the negative results the other day from the pregnancy test i'm not going to lie part of me was disappointed for some odd reason. How can i not want anymore kids but be so heartbroken to see a negative result. Maybe because i do have all the symptoms and also am 12 days late. UGH!! I hate this..hopefully i'll have some clarity in a few hours.....I'll keep ya posted! XOXO ♥

So since its so blah & rainy outside we're stayin inside today. We decided to goof off a little bit and take some pics lol. We have way to much time on our hands lol...but we've gotta stay quiet since jonathan is sleeping.

But in OTHER news....Matthew is officially potty trained!!!!!!!!!!! I am one happy and proud momma. We've even ventured out to walmart and such without a diaper and no accidents! (knock on wood) He refused to put back on a diaper cuz he says he's a big boy. I couldn't be prouder of him...hes getting so big. Night time he doesn't wanna wear one either & he has stayed dry for a week at night but i still make him wear one just in case. I know he doesn't like it and i'm wondering if i should just let him have it his way and not put one on him. What do you think??
